Now in their 12th year at the restaurant, the pair are as dedicated as ever to presenting wholesome food using fresh local ingredients. For a warm welcome, family-friendly atmosphere and good-value home-cooking look no further. Breakfast is freshly prepared, from just eggs and toast to the traditional large cooked breakfast using local sausages. Throughout the day, baguettes, toasties, homemade cakes and more substantial snacks are available. Lunchtime specials change daily, with homemade soups, a traditional roast lunch and firm favourites such as steak and ale pie and homemade quiches. With vegetarian options, pasta and fresh fish dishes of grilled salmon or fillet of cod in crispy homemade beer batter, there is something for everyone. The restaurant is licensed and offers a variety of wines to complement your meal. Finish your visit with one of the homemade old-fashioned puddings or desserts; with fruit crumbles, cheesecakes, treacle sponge and more, you will be spoilt for choice.
